I would definitely document everything and get legal advice the last thing you need is everything looking bad for you as some people can be nasty. I have a relative that poisons family members against one another and then looks like the Caring butter wouldn't melt I used to lash out as I thought it was unfair but it only harmed me nobody else so try and get people to look out for you and go through the proper channels sending hugs as I appreciate the situation must be very difficult for you.

That sounds really stressful, especially when you're already managing depression. Conflict with family and feeling cut off from your daughter can hit especially hard emotionally.

Since contact with your daughter is court ordered, here are some steps worth considering:

- Document everything — note the date, time, and details of every missed call
- Try reaching out again in writing (text or email) so there's a paper trail
- Contact your attorney or legal aid to report the violation of the court order
- Reach out to the court clerk if you don't have an attorney — they can guide next steps As for the difficult conversation your dad had in front of your daughter — setting clear boundaries can really help protect your mental health. It's okay to calmly let him know that certain conversations shouldn't happen in front of her.

Remember, you don't have to apologize for protecting your wellbeing. As one MyDepressionTeam member shared, resetting boundaries is sometimes necessary to avoid going back down that deep depression road.

Yes I do come here for help especially when I’m dealing things and get some input and I do appreciate the help at all cost from u guys. I’m afraid that my daughter wouldn’t want nothing to do with me after my dad doing that and I told him it’s wrong to do but he did it anyway

Hi Meghann, welcome to the club. You find all kinds of help in here for depression in the form of people's experiences, helpful words, love and kindness. If you're of the religious type there's also a lot of prayers' in here just ready to help.

Please try not to stress to much dear. Stress is really a depression enhancer. Try saying the serenity prayer and turning your problem over to God. Just a suggestion...

Hope you don't have too much heartache and that your depression levels may be bearable just for today. Meghann.

✝️God Bless,

Gary🛟
