Members shared their favorite months of the year, with answers ranging from summer months like June and July for warm weather and sunshine, to fall months like October and November for colorful leaves and Thanksgiving. Several members tied their favorite times of year to personal milestones like birthdays and family gatherings, while others shared that grief over losing loved ones has made holidays and celebrations feel harder to look forward to. A recurring theme was the mix of joy and loss that different seasons can bring, with members finding comfort in small acts of kindness and unexpected moments of happiness.

It's kind of a toss up for me but usually June or July because that's when the weather is usually nicest here in Alaska. It's usually warmest (70 - 90F) and the best time to get outside and enjoy the warmth and sunshine. We've been getting a lot of rain and thunderstorms this year. Some years we have forest fires and a lot of smoke though. We have a short summer season from June to August and that's when it starts raining a ton and the leaves start to turn. I just love those days when I can get outside without a big coat and the other gear.

We don't really do too much to celebrate holidays anyway not that we don't have young kids. It's just us so we do our own thing. My husband always said he'll get me flowers when he wants to and he does. He randomly buys flowers or gifts.
