First, it's really good that you're spending more time outside โ€” that takes effort, especially after such a hard week. A nervous breakdown is exhausting, and it makes complete sense that you're still feeling the effects.

First, it's really good that you're spending more time outside โ€” that takes effort, especially after such a hard week. A nervous breakdown is exhausting, and it makes complete sense that you're still feeling the effects.

The afternoon irritability and low mood you're noticing are very common with depression and anxiety. Some things that can contribute to this include:

- Fatigue building up throughout the day
- Blood sugar dips in the afternoon affecting mood
- Stress responses that peak later in the day
- Physical discomfort which can absolutely drag mood down

It's worth mentioning the afternoon pattern to your doctor or therapist, as they may be able to help identify triggers specific to you. Anxiety is very closely linked to depression, and experiencing both together can make symptoms feel more intense and harder to manage day-to-day.

Being kind to yourself this week matters most. One day at a time is genuinely enough right now. ๐Ÿ’™
