Thanks @A MyDepressionTeam Member for sharing your experience- love both replies. I’m nervous but looking forward to treatment- I’ll let you know how it goes….thanks again!
Hey there! I haven’t started TMS yet, still waiting for my insurance to ok.
Before I forget, there’s a new TMS protocol from Stanford University.
SAINT (Stanford Accelerated Intelligent Neuromodulation Therapy) is an advanced, functional MRI–guided form of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). It offers more precise, targeted treatment and can provide rapid relief for individuals with severe, treatment-resistant depression. By delivering 10 sessions per day over five days (50 sessions total), it has reported high remission rates (79–90%) within just one week.
Clinics offering this protocol are currently limited, but that is likely to change in the not-too-distant future.
@A MyDepressionTeam Member, best advice I can give you is listen to and trust your TMS team, they have your best interests at heart and will take care of you.
Best of luck!
p,s, Adding you to my team because I'm curious to see how your treatment turns out and what you may be going through during, should you decide to share that with us,
Thanks for sharing your experience! I’m giving it a go and it’s nice to know what to expect.
