I would not “respect” or encourage anyone ; be entity or person that’s trying to destroy me and take something unwillingly from me. I would consider that an enemy to be feared especially if said enemy has the means to back up mentioned threats. If these are just empty threats from something/someone ; I would not give it any more energy or thought.
