I have heard guys say they prefer young women, compared to women 30 and above.
Don't be silly.
I'm 78 and find women of all ages interesting as long as they communicate
well.
Don't care about the package,
it's the contents
A woman, any *person* has no *prime* because we learn everyday, we grow and develop over the years, some good, some not so much, but there are no peak years, unless you're referring to mating or finding a life partner. When you've got it going on, those are your *prime* moments and each one should be treasured.
@A MyDepressionTeam Member, you do, indeed, John!!! 🤣🧡😂
But, whereas I tend to ramble on if I'm not trying to provide hopefully useful information, you share very valid and quite useful insights and, if I haven't said before, your thoughts are always greatly appreciated, and probably not just by myself...
All in favor?
Wow, that's a question with a can of gas suspended by a thread over a bonfire. I'll say no. In fact, I think statistically it is not such a bad thing for a younger man to marry an older women. Why? women live longer so the chances of a long widowhood are lessened (or something like that). The bigger reason there are washed up marriages and relationships, as opposed to women, is, in my view, the couple lacks common goals and interest that bind them together. They quit communicating and trying to find common cause. I've been married 33 years despite bipolar. Goodness knows my untreated years and treated years have not helped matters at all and a lesser woman would have put up with none of it. Regardless, that's relationships.
Washed up woman? I'd say washed up people. Careers usually hit the wall first. But then you get physical ailments and so on. Washed up in a general sense is difficult to quantify or qualify. In evolutionary terms, the childbirth years are far below 29. Humans up until the 19th century lived to their mid thirties and the reason that was so high is due to selective categories boosting the numbers. Maternal and infant mortality statistics really beat down the numbers because they have been so shockingly high. Evidently, if you lived past childhood you had a pretty good chance of making it to a decent old age. But if you want to say washed up, better stick with when humans are in their prime. That's a lot lower than most people think...alot lower.
In terms of beauty, well, one can always have good genes as they say. Cosmetic surgery is the wizards approach today so when someone starts that road (aside from reconstructive surgery from injuries) you kind of think that person mentally has reached such a point. In terms of whether men think women are washed up for beauty, that's a tough call. We can marry a heavy person with the soul of a saint, loving, devoted and full of laughter and spirit or we can marry a beauty queen with the demeanor of a spotted toad and a disposition of a nervous viper. Or, as is most often the case, something in between. I have found as an older man people my own age are much more approachable and mature. Emotional comfort and companionship outstrip skydiving and living on the wild side. But that's me. Priorities change. If we want to say women are washed up with tolerating shenanigan's and young men's tom catting and unreliable natures trying to hold on to youth...yeah. I think people would embrace that. And no, I'm not trying to butter up to the ladies in the crowd lol.
Washed up for what? Attracting superficial people, sure, but who wants that in your life?
