Hi Matt, I really appreciate you and you words, and I must say that I am not really sure whether this belief that the "the light" or "the Lord" holds the future in his or her or its "hands," my friend, but I DO believe in a "Higher Power," a God who I can understand" yo dude!! . . Yes, like you, I do have a fear of myself sittin' in the dark with self-loathing again, and I have done plenty of that in my past. . But I am clear that that is not goin' da happen again with me as I have way too much at stake in my life now, and in the life of my fellow homeless friend, Joyce. . I have da be there or here for my 38 yr. old daughter, her husband, and my middle school stepdaughter, as well as my grandson who is just about da start kindergarten yo tomodachi, my friend, y mi amigo!! . . When one gets up in my age range, I will be 70 in January, one becomes aware that there is a lot less time left ahead for him or her, and that most of one's life is behind one . . For me this is a powerful motivator, which is why I get up every morning and do my best to help God, as I call my Higher Power, to help ME. . I hope and trust that that made some semblance of sense, brother, and that YOU are doin' well today, and are presently surrounded by your Higher Power's peace, love, and greatest vibes, Matt!! . ... .
