I had dreams of different inversions of what you're talking about

I had a dream of passing away I couldn't see anyone but shadows but knew there were family around then when my husband was coming through the door I panicked in waking life because I wasn't ready to go as in the dream I knew once he gave me a kiss on the forehead it would be my last breath it was comforting but frightening as I wasn't ready to go yet

There's honestly nothing to be afraid of, friend 🧡, it's literally just a dream. Dreams are random, inclusive and exclusive (you can dream about real things as well as imaginary), but they are less than thoughts. It's not a portent of what's going to happen anymore than my dreams of an octopus driving a WWII Army jeep up my bed as a child ever did. The only harm they cause is by hanging on to and fretting about it.

I recall Sophie Marceau's line in Braveheart, whispering to King Edward the Longshanks (Patrick McGoohan) as he lay in his deathbed waiting for William Wallace's torture and execution, "You see? Death coles to us all..."

It's an inevitability that I'm trying not so much to fear, but welcome as reaching my final destination. If you preoccupy your mind with so much worry about dying, you'll miss out on the life you can experience to your fullest capacity right here, right now.

Two things I'm teaching myself:

1. Tomorrow doesn't exist;
2. You can't push the river.

You got this, Val. Get out there and rock it!

Peace and hugs 🫂 🤗 ❤️ 🧡
