How Do You Tell Someone The Words They Said Hurt You?
A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭

How do you let them know without getting all emotional 😭 without looking like a baby. It's very vulnerable to open up and let someone know how their words made you feel but I want to stand my ground and be understood not pitied.

She's just giving Steph a suggestion as to how to respond when someone says something hurtful.

Just tell them. You did nothing wrong. They did. Do NOT let them pit it back on you!!

Thanks everyone I talked to my mom over the phone and I did cry but it wasn't horrible she understood and apologized and even said if someone had said those things to her she would have been hurt too.
