I didn't realise that I had depression. I knew that I'd gone from the bubbly, chatty confident young lady I was in college and to the quiet shy me I was I high school.
It was actually my mum that noticed that I wasn't my usual chatty self as she that I would sit and stare into space or at the TV. She also said that I kept bursting into tears as well.
I was diagnosed with postnatal depression when my daughter was about 2 months old. She's 21 years old now.
The one thing that made my depression worse was when my daughter was forcibly adopted when she was between 6 months old and 8 months old.
My depression did worsen again after my late nanna came for my daddy as its been over 4 and a half years now since my nanna came for my daddy.
My late nanna is my late dad's late mum, who passed away when I was still in primary school.
