my doctor told me years ago i will have depression all my life.

Depression, for me, does ebb and flow so, yes, for me, sometimes it goes away, but my former Psych (who retired) told me I would more than likely have these struggles my whole life. Same for needing to take meds for it.

I think you just learn to live with it I’ve had it for 18 years now sometimes are worse than others tried different meds and different types of councelling cbt etc

So far no significant changes to the depression/anxiety I have had since I can remember. The meds help me cope, but I have a feeling the depression/anxiety will always be there.
