Good question.. I just had a incident happen a couple of days ago that caught me off guard that I couldn't shake off.
Long story short, my kid's dad moved to the same town that our daughter & I live in. I had a really hard time with this and my depression got worse.
If it is not in my face I can deal with things about our past. But now i see him more often and he does stuff that trigger me all the time and I hate it. Even if it is little things, that happened a few days ago. I just want go hide and not deal with him. But, of course I can't so I am doing my best with the situation.

Sometimes a really bad night of sleep with nightmares may trigger an increase in my depression ,stress also and worrying can trigger an increase in depression. I seldom drink as that could also be a trigger it diminishes my medication or could alter it. My brothers attitude towards me and his argumentative ways is the worse trigger his attitude actually increase more than my depression it causes anxiety and my blood pressure shoots up and end up extremely depressed because my brother acts like he hates me and no matter what I say or do he always has to irritate so I stay away from that trigger as much as humanly possible.
