Has Anyone Ever Heard There May Be A Connection That People Who Have Depression, Also May Have A Histamine Intolerance?
I first heard about the histamine/depression connection about a year ago from a doctor on YouTube. I’m not sure but I think his name is Andrew Huberman. He’s actually a neuroscientist. It may have been another doctor, but I found it very interesting because sometimes I will take the antihistamine Benadryl, and I swear on my kids’ lives, it literally makes me feel “normal” and not depressed! Kim, I thought so too. There’s no denying how I feel when I take Benadryl, but it’s not good for your system to take it everyday. I want to research it more too.
So I just read through this article: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC95... ...there is a lot here that is over my head but it looks like there have been several studies about the relationship of histamines and depression and some show some interesting findings. It's super interesting to me.

The pills I take are basically benedryL.doc wasn't worried. He saw them and gave them back
