Anybody feel like the days have been dragging on? Over the last few weeks, I've felt like my days have been getting longer and longer. I work 6 hours a day/2 days a weeks, but it has seemed like 12 hours.

Hi Brent. As long as I stay busy and cook and clean and do projects in the house then time seems to fly be fast. At times in the night it seems to go slower so I take my medications and read an article in a magazine or a recipe or I start a new book and then I start to get tired an I fall to sleep.
Maybe you could try planning activities that will help your time to pass faster after your work. You could visit a friend, go out to have a sandwich or a piece of pizza at the local pizzeria or Diner. Socializing is most important to help with depression. I set a goal to have 4 social activities per month. Either friends come to my place and I cook, or we go out to eat , or I go to their house to eat after church. The socializing is really helping my mood and keeping me from feeling lonely and disconnected. Best wishes with your new goals.Hope time flies faster. Melissa in New York😇

The more activities that you have planned for the day the better. Also, socializing during the day with friends, family. co-workers, neighbors, anyone else is helpful. Do some working out and get some sunlight for at least 20 minutes a day--perhaps a short walk. The sun combats depression with its Vitamin D 3. Write down on a piece of paper all the things you are grateful for. Start keeping a Journal in a special notebook that you buy for yourself. Maybe a pretty on that attracts your attention. best wishes.

I have found that if I go out and do my errands, appointments, etc in the early or middle afternoons, it breaks up the day so it goes by faster.

I am retired. Usually time goes pretty fast, except when I am depressed or anxious. Then they drag.

Some days seem longer than others when I am working. But as summer goes on that will change
