Like at these moments you were happy! With this specific person or people you were happy! So you relive the moments in your head but you know you wont get them back?

@A MyDepressionTeam Member I am struck by your question. When I was hospitalized in 1981 I was extremely depressed. And the staff there specifically asked me to recount what I was doing when I was happy. Who I was with? What was I doing? I did that as I do now off and on. It's not like being trapped in the past it's looking back there for ideas on how to feel better. For instance I always say I felt happy when I was walking three times a day. That was 30 years ago but for now if I walk once a day I start to feel better. You can get some of it back don't you think? Walking makes me happy. I hope this helps. Pretty good for what the staff said still right on my head 40 years later...Annie
