Lately I feel strong darkness where ch leads me to truly believe I and perhaps everyone here on MDT has a light and dark side : Jedi/Sith Lord ; yin/yang; etc . What are everyone s thoughts ?
There will always be light/dark, good/evil in the world. Everyone has some things within themselves that they would consider "light" and some they would consider "dark". This is "normal", and part of being human, but the trick is to not let the "darkness" overcome you.
Deep Question Jimmy. Personally I believe that each, individual, human has the potential to be good or evil. We have the power to choose what we allow ourselves to be. We are influenced by society, family, religion, friends, events, even our health daily. What we choose to do, is then observed by others to be either good or evil. Faith/Religion: For me it is not just one religion or one faith, but the culmination of all of them. Each branch of religion has something in it that sings to me, and all together they are the song. I believe that Jesus was a man who lived and taught love, kindness and hope. I believe that man, in order to have more control over religion, and the populous, took parts of many faiths and made them into what we currently follow as a "Christian calendar" of Biblical events. I am strongly bonded to the sea, earth and moon. Meaning that I feel connected to nature, more at ease or at peace. I find that God exists for me in nature as well as in church buildings or gatherings of people. I deeply love religious music, I could listen to it all day and not tire of it. Good or Evil?
Tottaly respect that, i was a practicing catholic for 50 years . Buddhist respect Jesus . Even if one doesnt practice buddhism the wisdom about good and evil you asked about is profound . all good
@A MyDepressionTeam Member: I don’t believe in Buddhism ; Hinduism islam or any other religion s. I believe in Jesus .
I believe it is up to each of us. We have a choice in all that we do. God gave us that when we were made. Its up to us what our choice will be. Though perfect not one of us is. We are human after all.
