I've been grieving for 2 weeks now about my friend dying. She passed away October 25th. And throughout the 2 weeks I saw her in the hospital just about everyday. I have cried my eyes and heart out. Millions of tears to the point I'm now numb. I find it hard to get stuff done. I know everybody handles their grief in their own way. I feel like numb I guess, though I do break down in tears here and there.I know everyone's grief is different and that some it takes longer.
Grief is different for everyone. Don't let anyone tell you that you are greiving too long / not long enough. Take your time, remember the good times you shared, and that they are always with you.
I lost my only sibling two years ago. I had to make all the fin decisions. My daughter told me I should be over it. We grieve differently. Our bodies need to go through the emotion in order to heal. Praying helps me a lot.
I have been grieving the loss of my child for many years. Everyone is different.
