I would give the government a good shake and tell them, for pete's sake, let us have a voice in how we are viewed and cared for, in this world! We have the illnesses, let us be our own advocate! I wouldn't quake at getting out in public and saying my piece, for all of us who have Mental Health Illnesses, I would love it, give people something to think about! Bash the stigma, once and for all. by telling it like it is! Let me do it!

If i could still afford to live i would go to schools and talk with them about depression and suicide. There was a 15 yr old boy a couple years ago who took his life at my kids school. It breaks my heart to hear about anyone taking their life. Which is ironic as most days i battle through the urge to end mine.

I want to second that Midnightstorm. MDT has really helped me.
I think I would also advocate easy access therapy/counselling services for all. Governments should invest in these services.
