For me what has helped has been having outlets of support. My therapists, and medication. Then I try and create goals of what I want out of life. And remind myself that we have one life here, and push myself to make the most of it despite the illness. It isn't am easy thing to do though. The most important thing I could say is that in order to stay well, you need to work hard. Constantly battle negative thoughts, and persevere. The harder you work, the easier it gets in the long run.

By trying to do all the right things. Eat well, exercise, get out and socialize a bit, stay in contact with friends and family, keep all Dr and counselor appts. Keep your mind engaged. Stay away from things that are toxic to you... People, places, things.
