Could it be I have cried for so long that I have no tears left? Or is it that I can no longer feel?
Medication can cause problems with emotions - I very rarely cry with the medication I am on.
Our bodies react differently to different situations. For some people, depending on the situation, it can be shock, in other cases denial, in other cases it is just your brain coping with what is going on. Hopefully it gets better for you. Sending positive vibes your way!!!
I think the numbness is your way of trying to survive
Stimulate a crying session. When I go through periods of extreme numbness, I make myself cry by watching a few super sad movies, videos on YouTube and even watch sad news stories or documentaries. Works like a charm for me :) I hope this helps.
It could be many things. I don't know what you're going through, but it could be a part of the coping we're healing process.
