@A MyDepressionTeam Member. I was prescribed Sertraline but sadly had the S/E's of tremors, looked like i was a junkie, then 2 counteract the hand tremors went on a Beta Blocker which just exacerbated my Asthma. Anywaz i'm med resistant. Hence i'm not on any meds.

Good luck 2 those who can take this SSRI & hav no significant S/E's.

I found it useless I've tried many but venlafaxine works for me

When ssris and snris dont work, its time to try novel medications like: Emsam patch, moclobemide, namenda, tianeptine, mirapex, maoi inhibitors or tricyclics. Never give up!!

@A MyDepressionTeam Member. G'day Laura. Wen i said i was med resistant it means that all the SSRI's i tried did diddly swat 4 my flat affect.

Venlafaxine ( Effexor XR) can cause Headaches & tremors especially wen 1st commenced (as can all SSRI's) if these S/E's cont i would suggest u go bak & see ur GP 4 another tweak of ur meds.
Sadly wif alot of these meds u end up requiring a combo of tablets as one causes this S/E so u hav 2 take another tab 2 counteract that S/E. It's like playing bloody Russian roulette, ugh!! ---- Goodluck on ur journey of healing.
