Yes very hard as it ingrained in you. A cognitive therapist can relieve you of this and it will take time but well worth it. Take Care

Yes it’s very common for people to do that and it’s very unhealthy. Men think that they can fix everything and if they have a problem just push it down inside and not ask for help. One day, as in my case it will explode like a volcano and it leaves you in terrible place. Asking for help is a sign of strength not weakness, be kind to yourself all the time then you can easily help others. Take Care

I learned that a long time ago when my partner saw the sighs of me doing that. and i learned not to do that.
