Sometimes my dreams feel more real that I believe they have actually happened. I tend to not wake up from the nightmares, but when I do I have mass panic attacks can't breathe or I uncontrollably cry. It takes a full day before I calm down.

Zoloft really shouldn't be causing that. Have you told your doctor about what you've been experiencing? You need to as soon as you can because if you are either seeing things that are not there or believing things that are not true this is a serious symptom that needs immediate attention. It doesn't mean you're crazy, it just means you're having an imbalance in your brain chemistry that may leave you feeling that way, and may lead to dangerous situations as the one you have described. Call your doc today and let them know what's going on or go to the hospital if you believe things are reaching a crisis state.

I experience the same most nights. I had sleep paralysis real bad too until I started taking a Anti Depressant. Nothing helps for the nightmares though. Wake up in a state a crying most time.

I also have this happen often. It's really scary and sometimes takes a while to calm yourself and remember it isn't real. Sometimes I find the dreams linger throughout the day and it's hard to shake the feeling and the imagery that comes with it. What I do is just continue to remind myself that I am in control of my reality even when that doesn't seem the case. I/you've been through it many times and always come out okay, we are strong and capable even when we don't feel that way. I'm sorry you're going through this, you aren't alone and I'm proud of you for reaching out ❤

Sometimes you just experience things that no medication can assist with. You just have to go through things and eventually all will make sense. I wish you all the best. Just know that you are not alone..
