Ive been on <a href="/treatments/cymbalta">cymbalta</a> for nine months and after about three weeks I started to feel better, more energized and I felt ,not really happy but in between, not depressed but not great but I had really good days. If that makes sense. For the last couple weeks Ive been feeling really horrible, physically and emotionally. I just feel so numb, all I want to do is sleep. I just dont want to deal with anyone or anything. There are things I want to do but I have no energy to do them. Id love to go to the library and pick up books for my nephew for this weekend and print off some pictures to make collages and for my scrapbook(i love scrapbooking) I used to do that all the time, I kept my room organized and clean and now its just a mess. I want to clean it up like I used to but I just dont feel like it. That sounds really lazy but I dont think it is. Its like no matter how much I sleep, no matter what I do nothing is helping. I have lost weight and honestly that should make me happy but it doesnt. I have no appetite but I eat. Im doing a good job with cutting out sugar as much as possible because I know that kinda causes me to be really sluggish (even more) as well as cheese burgers and I havent had fast food in a month and a half. My cat makes me smile or laugh and so does my nephew but the rest of the time Im just so numb. I want to cry but its just not there anymore. I need to talk to my shrink but I dont want to face them, I really dont want to go out at all. I just get so irritated when I have to deal with anyone else. If I fall asleep and wake up on my own, i feel sad right when I wake up but if i have to deal with someone I just dont feel like it and i get upset like 'why do you have to bother me?' and I feel like crap for thinking that way and they can hear it in my voice that im upset and then they get pissed off at me and that doesnt help anything. What should I do??

Hi, I’m up to 100mg. They lower my <a href="/treatments/effexor">Effexor</a> xr to 225mg. This also is the first time I have reached out for help in 20 yrs. I was on <a href="/treatments/effexor">Effexor</a> xr 300mg the whole time until now. So I did 2 weeks of 25mg, 2 weeks 50mg, and now a week of 100mg.

How are you feeling on it @A MyDepressionTeam Member? <a href="/treatments/effexor">Effexor</a> made me tired and didn't work but everyone is different!

Setraline has changed every thing also busporin I have problem with energy but fewer blow ups with my wife talk to your dr meds do lose effectiveness after time I can not remember all the meds I have taken hope things improve

The combination of the <a href="/treatments/lexapro">Lexapro</a> and the <a href="/treatments/lamictal">Lamictal</a> is the only thing that worked for me in ten years

Kaye, Aww, I'm so sorry you're not feeling well. Do you have an appointment with your psychiatrist anytime soon? Could be the @@ [[treatment:@Cymbalta:57ad1b3eff29501e1d000ab6]] isn't working or you may need a mood stabilizer like @@ [[treatment:@Lamictal:57ae08c8ff29503f850004e8]]. I take @@ [[treatment:@Lexapro:57ae0933e1f26a384c0008aa]] and @@ [[treatment:@Lamictal:57ae08c8ff29503f850004e8]] and it's worked like a miracle. The @ Lexapro worked a little but I was still depressed so he put me on the @ Lamictal as an adjunct and it's made me a new person. I hope this helps ♥️

Yes, it usually does, but it started helping me within three days. My son is a psych nurse and said it sometimes does. Everyone is different. I didn't have any side effects at all. Hopefully you will get used to it and start feeling better. ♥️

I’m pretty good as long as the pharmacy fills my Effexor! Still recovering from last weeks withdraw. ( pharmacy’s fault) I still have a little nausea and headaches, sweats ok everything but not as mixed up. Slowly but surely I’ll be back on track lol

@A MyDepressionTeam Member I feel fine with the Effexor xr. With the lamictal, I’m not sure how I feel. No appetite, tired, more head aches on 100mg but they say it takes a while to build up a level to make you feel better?
