I quit my job 6 years ago when I was in my twenties. I really battled with work and since then I haven't been working.
I taught school until I was hospitalized so many times in the same year that it wasn't fair to the students. So I began receiving retirement disability. I worked at a part time job til last December. Ive tried applying for other jobs but nothing has worked out. Now I am home schooling my grandson which keeps me busy during the day.
@A MyDepressionTeam Member People can be cruel when your disability is ‘only’ depression. It’s not a real disability to them. That’s why I don’t ever tell anyone. It would be nice if I could educate them, but most would never understand. Thus I am retired, at an early age—but hey that’s their problem😜😜
I am also on disability. I am no longer able to manage a job and take medication as the doctor perscribed. I do what I can around the house and have two cats that provide me with a routine.
I'm heading that way. Every year is a little bit more difficult, I think it is only a matter of time.
I work in a Factor &it is Really Hard Cuz got so many people that gives their opinion on how the Job should be done. They are MAD &Cranky All the time. I Try to stay away from Negative attitude but Really hard to do at my job. Wen I was off work for medical Reasons i Surely did NOT miss my Job &Glad i was pulled off work from Doctor.
