I came across a question similar to the one I just posted--which I was looking for, but could not find...In any case, my answer was, and is, a definite "Yes!" Going out, even to mail a letter, DOES help, but gosh, how one might have to push push push! I think the smaller or (easier?) the task or activity--maybe going for a short walk around the block, or to feed birds in the park?--is a good (start). Yes it does. I feel more comfortable at home, but enjoy people coming to see me.

I think so. My body seems weak. I don't feel like getting out so its my fail to an extent. The meds do make you tired and lethargic

Well done, the person I've been supporting keeps telling me they are too weak too go out walking, Is this true of others with Depression??
