Hey I have struggled with major depression most of my life, been on and have many AD. I will warn you about any kind of benzo ! I was on for 7 years I took it as prescribed by my doctor. I started loosing memory and other issues. I then weened myself off, and was in hell for over two years. Lost my job almost my wife terrible. It's not meant to be used for more than 14 days. Beware. Check YouTube type benzo withdrawal and see.

I was prescribed lorazapam. Knowing it was addictive I sort help from a homeopathic therapist and she made a concoction of natural stuff that I use daily. Plus I have to use calm breathing, drink water when the anxiety happens.

Hi Alex! C pin as probably Clonazepam. If your doctor wants you off in a short period of time, I would ask my doc. to wean me off. Or you can wean yourself off by taking a half now and then. But, it is best to try what your doctor has in mind. DI have been weaned from 1 mg three times a day to 2 a day to .5 3 times a day to .5 and a half . Usually I forgo the 1/2 .5 mg as it is not necessary for me with the Buspar kicking in now. I am also around people so my anxiety levels are down save when I get the three hospital bills. Right now I am managing, as to what will happen after I get into a new more expensive apartment remains to be seen. Prayerfully the anxiety won't go out of control.

Zoloft for me, severe depression. Dr.s have had me on for over 15 years. It could help with anxiety as well.
