I prepare meals in single serves and freeze any excess. I dont buy snack foods. If they're not there I'm too depressed to get dress and drive to the shop to buy some

With great difficulty. Unfortunately, eating has always been one of my main coping mechanisms. Having said that, I agree with Sandimedic who basically says if it's not in the house then I'm too depressed to go out and get it.

It was hard for me @ the beginning, cause I was so Stressed, just didn't care about myself & letting myself go, that food πŸ₯‘πŸ₯ was the only thing understood me, it made me feel better. I was 140lbs until I was in myin my late 20s & my highest weight was 220lbs & that's when the Weight Gain started, cause of the Stress, the Depression & Anxiety came, now Im between 200 & 206lbs, so I'm proud of myself, but I still have some ways to go, bcuz Im only "4 "11 & I have some other Health Issues going on, so I have to get my Weight down as much as I can. Thanks for listening πŸ‘‚πŸΌ

When I am depressed I'm not hungry but felt I needed to eat something. So I started trying to at least eat protein, even if it was just a protein bar.

I was a bad compulsive eater. I ended up changing my diet to vegetarian. I don't have snacks in the house. I am to lazy to go to the store if I want to eat. I do find that if I fall off the wagon I crave junk food, and when I eat junk food I crave it more.
