I am so sorry to hear of your situation.Physical problems is enough to bring on depression.I was dealing with a physical problems back in 96 along with the death of my Father.I was diagnosed with depression the same year.You are not alone my friend.Good luck!

I was dx with a trifecta..fibro rheumatoid arthritis, and Add. The depression comes from trying to accept the fact that life as I knew it was over. I still have meltdowns and panic attacks. I'm borderline agoraphobia. Just the thought of going out will bring on a panic attack.

I felt relieved to have a name put on something that haunted me for years. Even so I still remember crying and thinking no one will want anything to do with me when they find out.
