I'm just having one of my days. I want to cry and I just don't want to speak. I'm just numb and like I'm just kind of there. I'm normally an extrovert but I don't know what to do. I don't like people seeing me this way.
Try put on music you like listening to, write in your diary, your feelings etc, try talking to a priest, find out if your church has a pastoral group that is assigned for the parish, it is all done in confidence. I hope and pray you get somebody to listen to your story, hope you feel better
Hi. Have you ever been an In Out Patient Therapy? (IOP) It really helps in stabilizing you.
I am able to email my counselor anytime; even though she may not check it right away. It lets me have an "out" for my feelings. I seek help from my primary provider, counselor, or self harm. I am trying to stay with more positive resources. It is working so far.
Depression is a symptom. It's not the cause of what you feel. To get out of that pain and feelings of worthlessness (I know, I've been there), I used a physiological approach to my depression. I've written out exactly what helped me in my book. It's available for free on Kindle (May 4 - May 8) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZXVMXWK. You may want to try reading that. Once I implemented the method I was free from depression in 1 year and haven't relapsed since (2 years now). Hope that helps!
I go for a walk, do some crafts, write, talk to people or my psychologist. Go online.
