I have just been prescribed it..Is it any good and what are the side effects like?

I was on it about 20 years ago (when it was relatively new on the market). For me, it was the greatest and I experienced no side effects. Why and when I was switched to Celexa (citalopram) is beyond me. I don't believe it was as effective. I say 'was' as my new provider took me off both citalopram and venlafaxine in the last month.

everyone is different so you may not experience the same things as others finding the right medication is trial and error in my opinion so you wont know unless you try it :)

I couldn't get on with everyday life without my lexipro,i would hit rock bottom of that black hole.xx

I was prescribed Lexapro when Prozac wouldn't work. It helps me a lot.
