I know it sounds crazy, but I go for walks. While I walk I talk to God. It is not really praying, however I believe he hears me. Somehow it helps me.

If a person is a diabetic, they need insulin. If you have depression, anxiety or bipolar etc. then you lack serotonin and other chemicals in the brain. Once I came to realize this was the same, I have taken my meds religiously. I've been stable for three years now and lead an active life.

I don't like pills and medication. My personal belief is it makes the problem worse. I find taking comfort using aroma therapy helps me.

I tried CBT which I found helpful. A useful website is get.gg they have a lot of self help information.
