Ritalin

A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭
South Africa Port Elizabeth

I have taken Riralin before, but for ADHD and it works wonders for me.I have now been diagnosed with depression, if I took Ritalin now would it help for the depression, have been on a few other depression meds that have had violent side effects on me and I have gone back to 5 HTP again but I am not sure if this is sufficient.

I don't know if you have tried it, but lamictal and trileptal are used for people that have depression that other medications have not worked for. I am sensitive to a lot and all medications, but Topamax works well and they can do it once a day for people that are sensitive to meds (reaction wise) and Ritalin is good only for adhd
