Im on medication for anxiety, depression, and panic attacks. But I wanted to know if you have any other thing you use to help when it strikes. The only I have is an emergency pill I can take. But I have not found anything that helps, before distracting myself with a game on my phone would help or using a technique of "rooting" but nothing works anymore...
My doctor has said that cognitive therapy will help my anxiety? Have u tried that? I also use a med that kinda helps take the edge off but not really. Sleep an lots of it calms anxiety.take care
Therapy definitely helps. Minfulness, grounding and meditation help. If you can't afford therapy or insurance doesn't cover it you can learn more online.
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) is what gets me through my anxiety and panic attack. I strongly recommend this. Also known as Mindfulness. Good luck.
Mindfulness is really worth a try. It helped me.
