I've had genital warts since I was 8 years of age, as a result of my childhood sexual abuse, they come and go, and most of the time cause no issues, however they appear to be getting worse, and deeper inside my vagina, at the moment, their excessively itchy, and bleeding a little, I've never sought treatment for them, but am starting to consider it, does anyone else have any experience of this?

@A MyDepressionTeam Member Cryosurgery has been around since the early 90s and it kills the active cells. You'll always have it in your body but the surgery is not very invasive, is outpatient, and not very painful. You'll be so relieved when they're gone.
I had personel health issues won should be ashamed of. I informed my GP in detail all the facts. He doesnt jugde me, He was because well informed give me the best treatment and im fine now.
Thus: take your GP in your trust. Even if it is difficult and uncomfortable.
Very important: Sexuelly abused children feel guilty and ashamed. This is false. You the victim.

Same happenef to me. Must have it treated ..my cause cancer. Not sure if you have children. It can effect the phetus. Right a little note to your Dr where you say due to abuse at age six. This has happened. Not comfortible discussing. Never had it treatef it is back. He will know exactly what to do.
