I've taken different ones over the years and only take as needed and have not become addicted to them. Dependent upon them due to my anxiety but I can go days where I don't even think about them. I think this depends on the person and how you take them.

Yes they are. My body I addicted to klonopin. Tapering down is hell. Had withdrawals. Finally down to a Lowdose but it took a lot of effort. Not able to go off it for now.

I can't take anything with benzos. I was on xanax that contributed to my suicide attempt on Aug 2nd.

They are very addictive, you can become physically dependent upon them, especially if you take large doses on a regular basis, it can make you very ill if you were to just stop taking them, they should be reduced and stopped gradually, if you feel you have become dependent upon them, I'd urge you to talk to your doctor, or your local drug and alcohol agency, I know I've previously been very unwell from benzo withdrawals, please be careful with drugs like benzo's, their not something that should be used long term, or for recreational use, they can be dangerous, and tolerance can increase quickly.
