How do you define success in life? Success is when someone who has a plan of action and is willing to stick it out until their goal is accomplished. This is done by asking both God and Jesus Christ what exactly what they; God and Jesus Christ would like for them to do? As long as there is God and Jesus Christ in my life, I can succeed at anything I my life as long as I am willing to put effort into it; I can achieve anything in my life.

What a beautiful and thoughtful perspective on success! Having a strong sense of faith and purpose can be a powerful anchor, especially when living with depression. Your definition β€” having a plan, sticking with it, and leaning on your faith β€” is deeply personal and meaningful.

Success can look different for everyone, but some common threads include:

- Self-trust β€” believing in your own instincts and abilities
- Self-compassion β€” being kind to yourself when things don't go as planned
- Persistence β€” showing up even on the hard days
- Gratitude β€” recognizing and appreciating progress, big or small

As a MyDepressionTeam member once shared, *"Every day brings new chances for changing old ways and starting new healthier ones."*

Living with depression can make success feel distant sometimes, but your faith-driven approach gives you a strong foundation. The effort you're willing to put in truly matters β€” and that in itself is already a form of success. πŸ’™
