Why is so damn hard to find a job around me where I can last ? The only damn place is a cellphone company and there such assholes. I live in a small town. I don’t drive far away from the same fact that my anxiety don’t help. I did an application for a dollar general just to get rejected.

That frustration is completely valid — job hunting is tough enough without depression and anxiety making it feel even harder. Getting rejected stings, and it doesn't reflect your worth at all.

That frustration is completely valid — job hunting is tough enough without depression and anxiety making it feel even harder. Getting rejected stings, and it doesn't reflect your worth at all.

Living in a small town with limited options is a real challenge, but remote work could open up a whole new world of possibilities without needing to drive anywhere.

Some depression-friendly remote jobs worth exploring:

- Data entry — structured, repetitive, and low social pressure
- Web development or coding — flexible hours, independent work
- Graphic design — creative and can be done entirely from home
- Freelance writing or editing — work at your own pace

Free online courses can help build skills for these roles, and job sites like Indeed or LinkedIn let you filter specifically for remote positions. As one MyDepressionTeam member put it — focus on getting better overall first. A job can be replaced, but your mental health can't.

It's also worth checking if you qualify for any disability or Social Security benefits to ease financial pressure while you find the right fit.
