There is little data available.
Many say that it is bad for mental health.
I never smoked pot until recently.
It is completely legal here in Illinois.
You can see the weed we cut down
It is hanging in my she-shed. Will be Thanksgiving at least until we can grind & smoke it.

Members shared a wide range of personal experiences in response to a question about using marijuana, with many expressing support for it as a helpful tool for managing symptoms like mania, anxiety, sleep issues, and pain. Several members noted they are open with their doctors about their use, and one offered helpful advice about starting at a low dose with guidance from a dispensary pharmacist, while also flagging that paranoia and stomach sickness can occur for some. A recurring theme was a sense of personal freedom and hard-earned self-advocacy, though a few members shared that weed is not for them due to migraines or paranoia.

When my mind gets racy it calms me down . My brother had prostate cancer when he came to live with us. Randy wasn't a drug user but he wanted to try it so got him a b---t and he did half of it That was the first time in a long time he was able to come into the den with me. It's not legal here , we do have dispensaries. The hell I watched him go through to see the look of relief In his eyes was well worth it. Randy passed march 2013. I miss both of my brothers .

I also advocate, because it helps me and can help others, as long as they don't have hypersensitivity to THC.

Michelle, you experienced CHS (Cannabis Hyperemesis Syndrome). Some people, and I don't mean this in an insulting fashion when I say some of those people are light-weights, but you may have either had it on an empty stomach (smoking will have the same effect), the strain THC% was high (pun intended) or you simply had too much.

Melissa can't smoke/vape anymore because of her asthma and immunodeficiency, so I get edibles from a company called MOOD, their creamy caramels are as good as Werther's Originals, and they have really, *REALLY* good baked goods. Since Melissa has cut down on her consumption, and well before dinner, she took half of a 25mg caramel. 30 minutes later, she was singing an aria into the living room trash can, for 45 minutes almost straight.

Best recommendation I can make is, if it is legal at least medicinally in your state, you can usually find a dispensary that has a THC specialized pharmacist to discuss why you feel you need to use and they can make recommendations for beginning at a very low dose and titrating up as you become more comfortable, until you find the point where it relieves your symptoms. It does *not*, however, totally alleviate them, but, you really just won't care.

Aside from the CHS, two words of caution, a lot of people experience extreme paranoia, even seasoned veterans, and, keep potato chips, leftover pizza, candy, cookies, brownies, ad nauseum, out of the house, because the munchies are going to kick your a** πŸ€£πŸ™ƒπŸ§‘πŸŒ«οΈπŸ˜

We have a shot at a democratic senator in Texas.
Most said it would never happen,
But I think it's Tarico who is vying for that corrupt Lt. Governor.
I can't remember his name.
