Had asked a question if anyone else heard voices they believed were grounded in reality. Only seen one comment then the question just seemed to disappear…🧐

Are posts being censored on MyDepressionTeam?

Posts aren't quietly censored based on personal beliefs about relevance. The community management team reviews content to ensure the site remains a safe space for everyone to connect and share their experiences with depression.

When content is removed, it's typically because it may violate community guidelines - not because of the topic itself. The team prioritizes the well-being of the entire community when making these decisions.

If a post is removed for violating guidelines, members receive an email warning explaining which guideline was broken. This process is transparent, not quiet.

Your question about hearing voices is a valid concern that some people with depression experience. If your post disappeared without explanation, it could be a technical issue rather than intentional removal. You might want to reach out directly to the Community Manager for clarification about what happened to your specific post.

The community recognizes that members don't all share the same experiences or perspectives, and diverse experiences are part of what makes peer support valuable.

Maybe someone accidentally hit remove button or something I sometimes hit buttons unintentionally also sometimes it can be hard to find posts on here hopefully you get it sorted. Also people I have spoken to that are healthy say they here voices aswell some put it down to spiritual so hard to know the answer to why we hear voices hopefully as long as they are promoting healthy talk if not would definitely get help from health professionals.
