I can't stop thinking about my psychiatrist. He is so nice and very good looking. They call it sexual transference.

Hi, does the beauty of the sunset and nature make us nervous to be ourselves around it? . . And if it does is that bad, wrong, or unusual? . . My best peace, love, and good vibes to yas. . Cool Cat . .

I wouldn't exactly call it a "crush," but my prior therapist was kinda cute, definitely, but it was her empathy, compassion, understanding and how knowledgeable and intelligent she was. She basically dissected my current depression and anxiety and attributed it to unresolved childhood trauma, which I had considered, but never gave it too much credence. But once she got going with her perspectives and suggestions, I have to admit I was deeply attracted to that trait and more than once questioned myself whether what I was feeling for her was wrong in any way. Not in a cheating on my wife way, Melissa has always agreed with my philosophy of "Just because you can't eat, doesn't mean you can't glance at the menu," she knows she's my only girl and I'm not going anywhere. Not exactly a schoolboy's crush on his teacher, just an admirable awe and respect for her.

Not to be a pest, but I'd be cautious if you're experiencing these feelings towards your psychiatrist. It could change the way you discuss your issues with him, leading to the potential for improper treatment. On the other hand, he may be highly complimented, but would it put pressure on doctor/patient relationship?
