I have communication issues, I’m trying to work on my communication skills. What’s the easiest way to make friends that don’t come off as weird? How do I act normal to make friends.

Would you consider going to Church and being open to a peaceful relationship with Jesus and not worry too much about trying to 'make' friends, but just let Jesus bring to you who he wants to be your friend. Then you can reciprocate their kindness in whatever way you can muster.
Sometimes I used to pray for a friend to be given. Just remember, friendship is a two-way street once your on it. We know that we must do to others as we would like done to us, literally. Kindness is always best, but we should be mild and not push for anything.

In the uk we have an app called meet up within that there are loads of groups for all activities believe me there are all types of people in there!
I prefer to keep my circle small
