Can you walk? I walk for 45 minutes 4-5 times a week and it does wonders for my wife and I. She’s had a spinal fusion in her mid 30’s and the screw holding them together snapped and if she don’t walk often then she’ll seize up and it’ll bother her more

@A MyDepressionTeam Member I think it's kind of new to the market. Just about maybe 4-5 years old. If you've been stable on what you're on for a while; this might be why it was never offered.

You can always ask your current treatment team about why it may or may not be right for you <3

Have you discussed the weight gain with your doctor who may be able to make some suggestions on how to minimalize the problem?

For low-mobility and morbid obesity. I think this is an excellent place to start. Always discuss exercise of any kind with your Doctors before attempting.

There is also the 3-mile walk-in-place video from the American Heart Association.

It's a great place to start with 1/2 mile and build tolerance.

@A MyDepressionTeam Member Mirtazapine is more known as Remron it is an SNRI with the added effect of drowsiness (a good sleeping pill). I believe one extra benefit is help with nightmares as it keeps you from having them.
