Does Anyone Else Use Medical Marijuana For Anxiety Treatment? In My State, It Is A Legal Option!
A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭

I use a 100mg Edible to combat social anxiety. Without it, my throat locks up and I start leaking tears. This is how my panic attack works. The edible allows my vocal cords to not paralyze but the tear control could use some advice if anyone has any.

I am 54 years old and have been using marijuana weekly since I was 23. My husband passed away when I was 43 and out of all the benzos and other things prescribed, I swear to God the only thing that helped was weed.

I bought some transplants and grew my own cbd bud and harvested it and I use MCT oil with lecithin and the bud and slowly heat up to 160 degrees for a couple hours and then strain it and put it into dropper bottles. My wife uses it to control her pain

You are more than welcome. It changed my life when I started. I was completely sober off of anything but prescribed pills for 10 years as I was delivered from alcoholism and inhalant abuse! It helped with chronic pain and mental health so I was strong enough to move from SSI to be able to work from home or in a hybrid office model. I am just now rededicating my life to Christ after a deep backslide from my first baptism. So he is the greatest attributing factor but MMJ (Medical Marijuana is 2nd)

@A MyDepressionTeam Member You can also use pure CBD Edibles in any state so you do not get the psychotropic effects of THC. I like the Fun with CBD so I chose all the goodies.

Some doctors support some do not depending on your mental health CBD does not hurt either way and gives you the medicinal portion of the plant anyway. Just do your own research!
