Acute sorrow due to loss. Like a knife in the gut.

Good question. It is very complex, has many layers, and it's always in the back of my mind. As I get older and lose more people that I love, it doesn't get any easier.

Grief is when something cataclysmic happens in your life that created a hole that will never be filled.
You just learn to live with the emptiness 💔

Grief is that pit in your stomach that is empty. However, once upon a time, that pit was filled. I don’t think it matters what where who how, all that matters is, how it affected that person. You carry grief your whole life. Just as we are lucky to be happy, we’ve been given feelings of anger, we know what sadness is, and we also should accept death just as well.

Grief is the feeling that can only be quantified by one self. It's a feeling that only you can understand.
