I'm on 5mg Abilify after being off meds for 9 years. I've only been on meds since Dec. 16. I exercise and do my hobbies. I just want one uneventful day.
I'm attending a support group this afternoon for 1st time.

Try for just one and then increase. It takes time and alot of work.

Omg. Can I relate. I'm sorry ur being tortured. It sucks. Every f'ing day I wish I wasn't on this planet. Even when I wake up in the morning I groan because I have to get through another day which is soul-torturing. What do we do? We have to reach out to the pros that are trained to help us. Even when we don't agree with them. If you're on medication, it probably needs adjusted. My doc just added abilify and I think I feel like it works. They tell us to eat better and get out there to exercise but we both know that's lame advice. We have a disease, my friend, and it's not likely to go away. I wish I had better news. Take the not-so-bad days when you can and on the bad days......do whatever you want. If you want to stay in bed and binge-watch Netflix than do it. Remember, you're not alone. Right now there are thousands of us all feeling the same way.
I'll be thinking about you today.
