All you can do is correct your own mistakes, they one day will have to correct theirs

I can SO relate to this, unfortunately😢 I’m a single mother and had to have my brother and his evil 😈 wife take over the care of my kids, back in 2016, and have been estranged from them ever since😢. Instead of talking about me in a positive manner with them, they empathized with my kids and basically told them that I “abandoned” them😡

I spent a few months on a locked 🔒 psych ward, while going through ECT, and when I got out, I was told that my kids didn’t want me to move back in with them, so I went to live with my dad and his girlfriend for a few months, before being placed in a board and care. I spent 4 1/2 years there and just moved out in November of last year🙌🏻 I’m slowly starting to text with my kids again, now that they’re young adults, and continue to pray 🤲 for reconciliation with them.

We have a diagnosable medical condition and, hopefully 🙏🏻, your kids will be able to realize that and be able to forgive you for any mistakes that were made with them. Plus, none of us, including them, are perfect. As they mature in time, they will, hopefully, begin to see this for themselves. Stay strong 💪🏻 and close to our Messiah, as we await His 🔜 return!🥰👑✡️✝️

You need to write them the most honest, heartbreaking, embarrassing and depressing moments. You’ve had while raising your children and apologized to them.

Really I here leave the past in the past and move forward not backwards. True apology should be accepted.
