Can you meet the other parents of the other children at school? If they go to school. Sign up for things they have for parents to do. My mom used to come in every Friday and make the school popcorn with another mother and they became friends. She was great. Maybe you can do things like that. You'll meet other people that way. Again, if they go to school.

I have some food for thought!!! I am alone, retired, and love interacting with children since I have none. Not sure how you could do it but maybe look at seniors? Or someone retired? It would help you and it would them at the same time. I know personally I would love to go over to someone s house, be a friend and play games and do art projects.

My boys are both 1 and 2 so they haven't started school yet. I've tried going to the park but I'm not the kinda person to start up a conversation and apparently neither is anyone else.
