Why Don't Doctors Put People With A Anxiety Disorder On Disability
A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭

What about a Anxiety stress test, instead they just prescribed more medications.

Every day you feel sick, you can't stop the thoughts going on in your head over and over until you have a panic attack.

This last one, I fracture my tailbone

I believe that. And that is the way it was in the beginning of Creation. When God kicked Adam and Eve out of Eden, He then made them have to work hard for what they wanted and he also gave all the wildlife on the ground, the fishes of the sea and the birds of the air in order for them to survive on their own. Not the way God wanted it to go but He gave us the Choice and look where we are. Humans don't 'choose' very well. They want what they want right then and there - even to this day.

Some folks don't need meds and some do. Definately Big Pharma is a factor in some prescribing. But your body and your mind will let you know how it's going. Some folks only need a Therapist, group therapies, one on one and even all of it. We're all different and the reasons why. Being on Disability was a big help to me , even though they do have some control on what they will pay and how much. But sometimes it has to be done.

I'm currently on disability. Only thing is at every review I fear being kicked off by my doctor. Not fun

Hehehe...one of 'those' topics. People believe what they believe. Good for debates, but we need to be kind no matter what. Just sayin....

I’m also receiving disability benefits for the last 4 years; I can’t survive on the money they give me
