I have taken both medications. Both have worked great for about two years then stopped working all together. I was taking Wellbutrin along with two other medications a year ago but my depression got so bad that I didn't see the point in taking something that was obviously not working. I feel that out of all the Anti-depressants I have taken Wellbutrin worked the best. You can give it a shot and if it doesn't work you can always try something else.

I am taking Luvox as well as Wellbutrin. I started the wellbutrin three weeks ago. I haven't seen any change in my depression yet but I do have a bit more energy. I am going to give it a little more time. I am told that it can take up to six weeks to work. I am terrified of medications and am sure that is what causes me to have side effects.
